Green Note, 106 Parkway, Camden, London NW1
(just up the road from Jazz Cafe)
An evening with Astic Borders & Friends is back, after a most successful evening here at Green Note in November '06. Founder members Adrian Roye and Beth Dariti (also featuring Will Jenkins) have been playing all over London since 2004; sometimes solo, sometimes as a duo, but always to the very best acclaim. Astic Borders is a somewhat different animal; it's a project that focuses on collaboration, friendship and making music absolutely for the love of it. If you missed the last gathering, you don't want to miss another evening of banjo anti-folkstress Dana Immanuel, the manic and fragile acoustic songs of sugardrum and the uniquely acoustic Astic Borders. Only £3 on the door and best to get there by 8pm as it may well be a sell out.
